About me

I grew up in Lima, Peru and I was always interested in the arts and culture since early age, visiting museums of all kinds and archaeological sites. I wanted to be an artist and a teacher since early age earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and in 2002 I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Florida Atlantic University.

Beside teaching and the digital arts, I studied drawing and painting with Pablo Sansegundo Castañeda and lately I attended workshops at the New York Academy of Art with Dan Thompson and Andrew Conklin.  I believe in when we love to do something, we never stop learning.

I am also a freelancer since 2007 and founded my graphic design and fine arts small business. Currently I live in Florida and work as a painter and a graphic designer.

With over 14 years of experience in the design world helping businesses promote themselves effectivelyI worked with major magazines and editorial firms as the leader of the design teams. My expertise includes all aspects of design from logos to magazines and books layouts to large scale graphics and billboards with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere) and skilled in digital/ traditional illustration, drawing and painting in all known media with considerable experience in web design, web banners, popups, landing pages and full sites. I’m creative, fast, deadline oriented and willing to work with you on your business needs.
